Police Tactics
The majority of Officers only receive training in arrest and control techniques when it is required by their agency, and many of the techniques taught by agencies are too complex for Officers to remember in combat situations. This video was developed by Police Officers for Police Officers to counter some of the basic moves used in ground fighting. All of the moves are limited to just a couple of movements for easy memory retention of the Officer. All techniques are taught with weapon retention in mind and demonstrated by an Officer wearing a duty belt.
Also, check out the Police Forum at www.onthemat.com. This is a great forum where Officers discuss use of force situations and answer questions from the public.
